Press Release – UNCLASSIFIED

Coeus Technology with MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology receives EPA registration.

Anderson, Indiana – Coeus Technology has taken a momentous step forward with its business by receiving registration from the Environmental Protection Agency for their product, MonoFoil, on July 16 of this year. This registration provides authoritative validation for the formulation of the MonoFoil product and allows Coeus Technology to operate in full compliance with federal laws in the United States.

President and CEO of Coeus Technology, Nate Richardson, says, “This is a major leap forward for Coeus Technology. We are able to formally push out our registered MonoFoil product nationally.” Clients can now have the confidence that MonoFoil has been studied, reviewed and registered by the EPA and meets all standards.

“Coeus Technology is proud and excited that 100 percent of the work associated with MonoFoil was performed within the state of Indiana,” says David Parker, Executive VP and COO. Parker says that “the registration further demonstrates that cutting-edge technologies do exist in Indiana.”

Coeus Technology provides safe, effective and affordable antimicrobial technologies to manufactures and consumers who need them. The MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology solutions are effective against a broad range of odor causing bacteria, virus, fungi and algae. MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology is a bio-static antimicrobial additive that is built into or added to the surface of a product providing elemental antimicrobial protection. MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial is not a chemical and will not wash off or wear away, giving the product long lasting antimicrobial protection for the useful life of that product.

Coeus Technology is dedicated to developing an increasing stream of lasting employment in the state of Indiana. Coeus is on track to open two plants, one manufacturing and one packing in 2012. Coeus Technology estimates between 30-50 jobs will be created for the Hoosier workforce.

For more information into MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology, contact David Parker, VP and COO at (765)-203-2304, x2.

During the week of May 10, representatives from Coeus Technology ... joined the flood relief and clean-up efforts in Nashville, TN.

During the week of May 10, representatives from Coeus Technology – EJ King, Rick Suder, and David Parker – joined the flood relief and clean-up efforts in Nashville, TN. Upon his return, David Parker, the company’s COO, took time to share their experiences in an interview with Todd Rimer, the Director of Marketing & Communications for Community Networks, LLC.

TR: What were your impressions of the aftermath following the flooding?

DP: The areas hardest hit by the flooding were where we found the most resilient of Nashville’s residents. It was definitely hard to see all of the personal possessions that had been ruined by the flood.

TR: Where did you spend your volunteer time?

DP: The majority of our volunteering time was spent at The Donelson Fellowship Church, which is located in one of the areas hit hardest by the flooding. In addition to the physical labor we provided, our anti-microbial product, MonoFoil, was applied to several hallways, restrooms and an elevator in an effort to get the church back on its feet as quickly as possible.

TR: What do you see as being the biggest problems/hazards the city will have to endure in the ensuing months?

DP: The overall problem that the community of Nashville will face in the weeks and months to come is the deep contamination of historical buildings through newly constructed homes that were impacted by the flood. The magnitude of the flood of 2010 may impact the community’s building health for quite some time.

TR: What role can MonoFoil play in helping with the recovery efforts?

DP: MonoFoil is able to stop the proliferation of bacteria, fungi, algae and virus on treated articles.

TR: Did you speak with any local or state officials?

DP: We made contact with the office of the Mayor of Nashville upon our arrival.

TR: Do you have plans to return to Nashville any time soon?

DP: Coeus Technology stands ready to aid in pre-treating and post-treating articles potentially affected by any natural disaster at any time.

TR: What, if any, is your long-term plan and goal regarding Nashville?

DP: Coeus Technology’s long-term plan regarding the city of Nashville is to continue to offer support in any way possible in order to help its wonderful citizens get back to some sort of post-flood normalcy.

MonoFoil™ receives positive results with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) testing.

Press Release: – UNCLASSIFIED
Coeus Technology with MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology receives positive U.S. Military testing.

In a strategic move by DoD leadership, a new antimicrobial product called MonoFoil™ has completed initial testing. Coeus Technology has just received from the DoD much awaited and positive news concerning the testing of their MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology.

The MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial treated textile products tested, “has merit and could provide a benefit on next to the skin military textiles such as undergarments,” according to test administrators. “The MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial treated items were tested against Staphylococcus Aureus based on military testing protocols and proved 99.9% effective.”

“This is an incredible step. Not just for Coeus Technology and the MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial, but for our fighting men and women,” says Nate Richardson, President and CEO of Coeus Technology. “It is our intent that MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology is able to protect our troops in the field, by finally reducing the harmful bacteria that is so prevalent in locations where our soldiers fight for freedom. MonoFoil™ Antimicrobial Technology is far superior to competing agents and offers unparalleled long lasting protection. We look forward to providing MonoFoil™ for all of the military’s textile needs.”

Coeus Technology is currently in the final stages of testing for their MonoFoil™ water purification filter systems.

Part of MonoFoil profits will benefit wounded veterans.

ANDERSON, Ind. — Nate Richardson is passionate about the product his company, Coeus Technology, has engineered.

Yet Richardson is even more passionate about where the proceeds will go.

Richardson, a disabled veteran, said last week he and his business partner, David Parker, vice president of global sales, plan to donate a portion of the profits from the product MonoFoil to the Wounded Warriors Project, which helps severely injured veterans.

But what is MonoFoil? The company Web site defines it as “an antimicrobial additive that safely and permanently protects material from the harmful and degrading effects of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi.”

Think of it as incredibly pro-active Scotchgard.

“Let’s say you take a can of Lysol and you spray it on a surface,” Richardson said. “It will kill 99.9 percent of whatever’s on there. But 10 seconds later, the bacteria and viruses floating around land on the surface, and then it’s dirty again. There’s no long-lasting effect.

“Well, this MonoFoil technology can actually adhere to the surface of a product – aftermarket or OEM – permanently. We can tailor-make it to where it can last for months or can be permanent. That means it adheres in a nano-particle level.”

MonoFoil inhibits the reproduction of such problems as staph, E. coli, methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus or MRSA, clostridia difficile, H1N1, fungi and black mold in homes.

“The technology that we talk about has actually been around for 30-some years,” Richardson said, adding that the substance, engineered by Dow Chemical, is “enhanced” by Coeus (the Greek Titan of wisdom and intellect) through proprietary means.

Richardson said that MonoFoil does not kill germs and bacteria, as do antibacterial cleansers, which some claim can make such microscopic pests even stronger.

“People who use too much Purel or things like that, it’s killing all the good bacteria,” he said. “What our stuff does is, you’ll still get that bacteria, but you won’t get enough to have any effect. You keep your own natural immunity.”

Richardson added that MonoFoil, which is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency, could render clothing resistant to odors.

Coeus, which came to Anderson through the Flagship Enterprise Center, has 12 employees, mostly in sales.

Because of their veteran status (Parker is an Air Force vet), Richardson said, they have access to government and defense entities that could benefit from Monofoil. And that’s long before the product is taken into the consumer market, which could mean manufacturing jobs for Central Indiana.

“We’re veterans, and we try to give back. That’s our whole goal.”
