Application Sales Representative

 

ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for all sales activities for acquiring and nurturing Application accounts. The Applications Sales Representative is responsible for the strategic Client relationship; their primary focus is around understanding
the Client’s business needs and the Coeus promise, then utilizing that knowledge to help grow the Client’s use of Coeus’ Application Services
and Products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Present and sell Application Services to current and potential clients.
  2. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  3. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  4. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts.
  5. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  6. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  7. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  8. Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  9. Manage account services through scheduled follow up procedures.
  10. Identify and resolve or escalate client concerns.
  11. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity and pipeline.
  12. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  13. Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required
    to close sales.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
  2. Follow-up for collection of payment.
  3. Coordinate scheduling for Application jobs.
  4. Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.

  3. Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
    This is normally acquired through a combination of the
    completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years
    of sales or marketing experience.
  6. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to our Client base.
  7. Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
  8. Shows an understanding of issues relevant to the broad organization and business
  9. Creates atmosphere in which accurate information is effectively generated and disseminated to the correct areas of the organization.
  10. Demonstrates the ability to build partnering, collaborative
    working relationships.

  12. Analytical—gathers relevant information systematically; grasps complexities and perceives relationships among problems or issues.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.

Salary
The Sales Representative is a commission-based position.
